Dear Dr. jones, i appreciated the piece on camels in Bahrain. There is a particular way of execution using camels which was employed in Kuwait as recently as the 1930s. I think that the incident was mentioned in the reports coming from the agent in Kuwait. Anyhow, I collected opposition pamphlets from Bahrain in the 1970s and 1980s. These were generally items I purchased from the Bahrain students association in Austin, Texas when they had events at the University of Texas. Let me know if you are interested in the titles. I am now glad that I did not cintribute them to Stanford Univeristy’s archives, as I did many other items. I would have never gotten out that far to read them. James Hitselberger
